so, here it is, end of october and i'm finally updating this baby again. after a long slow month of august (in which NOTHING was done) we went thru a pretty sucky september (in which NEXT to nothing was done) and here we are in october (in which more than nothing was done, but we're nowhere near finished, so i'm a bit confused as to exactically how we should refer to this month of late?).

i guess i should prolly start taking a few pix of the outside, too, - cuz a lot of the more-than nothingness goings-on was done outside - perhaps tomorrow (in the rain???)

first off, the following are pix of what we'll be referring to as the den, or den of iniquity, depending upon the ages of our children...

so, the above is a closet in a closet. or it WILL be a closet in a closet. the sump pump is behind the paperbacked insulation. needs its own SEPARATE space, according to code.

and here (if you can imagine), the big-assed television (which, of course, we are already in posessesion of) is going in the corner (behind the pumpkins - which, btw, *I* carved today, with the help of my overexhuberant children, who were off for teacher's convention HOLIDAY). wonder when it will be installed?

like the curtains? we're thinking of keeping them.
